Exposed bricks always seems like a terrible idea for modern building nowadays. People start to pursue luxurious image for their modern shop houses and seems to forget that early era of modern architecture begins with group of simple geometry constructed with exposed bricks and concrete.
This project wanted to bring back the glory of the early modern architecture. The facade concludes large glass windows and simple arrangement of exposed bricks. Critical message towards the development of pseudo minimalism is implied in the design, promoting the tectonic nature of contemporary design inspired by architecture of nusantara.
